Lee McDougall

Lee is a purpose-led sustainability professional with Australian and international experience in the corporate, not-for-profit and consulting sectors.  Since joining IAG almost 10 years ago, Lee has worked in various leadership roles driving shared value innovation, strategic partnerships and our approach to responsible business.

As Executive Manager, Shared Value Strategy & Projects, Lee currently leads a team delivering a portfolio of shared value innovation projects designed to create safer, more connected and resilient communities.  She also leads the Secretariat of the Australian Business Roundtable for Disaster Resilience & Safer Communities and plays a key role in activating IAG’s founding membership of the Shared Value Project.

Prior to joining IAG, Lee gained extensive experience in corporate responsibility and sustainability through her corporate partnerships role with Landcare Australia and work as a consultant for niche sustainability consultancy Article 13 in London.  Earlier in her career, Lee coordinated dairy product exports at Fonterra in New Zealand and spent time as an English lecturer at the Russian University of People’s Friendship in Sochi, Russia.

 Lee completed her Master of Arts in International Relations at Keele University in the UK, where she served as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago, specialising in Russian language and culture.
