Jennifer Cobley | Executive Manager, Disaster Resilience, IAG

Jen is an experienced leader of strategic corporate and community partnerships and programs, driving social and commercial outcomes. She has a demonstrated history of working in the insurance industry and in building cross sector partnerships.

Driven by a passion to create positive social impact, she believes strongly in the role corporations can play in collaboration with others across sectors to solve complex social problems together. She is currently Executive Manager, Disaster Resilience at IAG.

Earlier in her career Jen held senior roles in Human Resources, with depth of experience in developing executive and employee performance and remuneration strategy and employee experience programs.

As Executive Manager Disaster Resilience at IAG, Jen leads a team responsible for developing and executing activities that enable communities in Australia and New Zealand to better prepare for and respond to natural hazards, contributing to IAG’s purpose to ‘make your world a safer place’. This includes through preparedness and behaviour change campaigns and programs with long term community partners and IAG’s role as founding member and secretariat of the Australian Business Roundtable for Disaster Resilience & Safer Communities

Jen is mum to a beautiful boy Edward, almost 2 years old. She also enjoys the opportunity to role model a strong job share partnership with Georgia Whitbread in their Executive Manager role leading the Disaster Resilience stream at IAG.
