Connie is responsible for meeting the capital markets and specialised funding needs of Corporate and Institutional clients at NAB. This includes bond, PP and USPP originations, loan syndications, securitisation, project finance and specialist leasing.
Corporate Finance is also responsible for the creation and distribution of investor product suitable for both institutional and High Net Worth clients. Connie also holds responsibility for managing the balance sheet for the Corporate and Institutional Division via credit execution and portfolio management functions.
Connie joined NAB in 2003 within the Financial Institutions Group, managing Funds Management Relationships for NSW and QLD. Over the next 12 years Connie has led senior teams across loan syndications and agency and trustee services, debt capital markets, securitisation and product development and origination of investment opportunities for sub-institutional investors.
In 2016, Connie was appointed to lead Client Coverage across the Resources, Infrastructure, Energy & Government Sectors globally and in 2018 joined the Corporate and Institutional leadership team leading Strategy, Transformation and Enablement. This included customer onboarding including financial crime, project delivery, change management, servicing, conduct and regulatory response and remediation.
Connie has more than 25 years’ experience in Wholesale and Institutional banking within NAB and other financial institutions including Deutsche Bank and UBS in Australia, United Kingdom and United States.
Connie is the NAB representative on the Australia Sustainable Finance Initiative Steerco, which is tasked with developing a sustainable finance roadmap for Australia and she is also a member of the FINSIA Institutional Markets Industry Council.
