Cassian Drew

Cassian leads Palladium’s ANZ & Pacific consulting practice and directs Public Sector advisory across APAC with a focus on using an evidence-based approach to solve social cohesion, economic prosperity and environmental challenges. Palladium is a leading socio-economic development partner of the Australian, UK and US Governments, managing over $2Bn in programs across 120 countries. Palladium works with public and private enterprise to design and deliver socio-economic development, impact investing, workforce and capacity building, and humanitarian aid programs.

Over a twenty year international career Cassian has worked to create positive impact at the intersection of government, markets and communities across a broad range of public policy areas and industries. In his career Cassian has played key roles in enabling the socio-economic development of emerging markets, developing economic growth strategies for regions and industries, and has started-up and led new public agencies in emerging markets.

Cassian previously served as Senior Executive Advisor on economic development to the Abu Dhabi Government, and worked with Government and state-owned enterprise across Europe, Middle East and North Africa as an advisor with global strategy firm Booz & Company. He served HM Government Office of the Deputy Prime Minster where he was involved in the establishment of a strategic partnership between Government and the business sector to increase the Resilience of London.

Cassian holds an MBA from the London Business School, a Bachelor of Engineering from the Queensland University of Technology, and has undertaken executive education in Public Private Partnerships through Harvard University. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and served as an advisory board member to the WWF in the Middle East.
